<div itemprop="description">Tardif, Christian Achilles (Buck) <br />It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Christian Achilles Tardif (Buck) in his home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 63 on Friday February 20, 2014. Buck was the amazing husband and best friend of Rosemary Riley-Tardif. Married two years as of May 8th, together for more than 20 years. Loving father of Jeff and Stephanie, step-father to Tiffany Young (Jeri), Tamara Chapman (Corey), April Luey (David) and loving grandfather of Austin, Evan, Conner, Sophie, Lucas, Paige, Grayson and baby on the way. Survived by sisters Francine Hatton (Ron), Carol Huneault, Mitch (Mari-Lu), Fern (Carol), John (Tana), Gerry (Flo), Marcel (Nicky). Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Buck will be most remembered for his passion and extensive knowledge of Vintage automobiles. Special thanks to the nursing staff at CCAC and the Hospice Niagara team, St. Catharines Oncology Dept. and Radiation Dept. at the Juravinski Clinic in Hamilton. As well as, Dr. Lawrence and staff. <br />Cremation has taken place. Buck&rsquo;s family will receive guests at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2250 Hwy. 20, Fonthill (entrance off of Merrittville 905-892-1699) on Wednesday Feb 26th at 10:30 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy without Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. The family would appreciate donations in lieu of flowers made to the Red Cross or Hospice Niagara through hospiceniagara.ca .
