Charron) - aka &ldquo;Pee Wee&rdquo; , &ldquo;Tiny Mighty Ma&rdquo; and &ldquo;Matriarch&rdquo; to the Turpin family, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2016 in her 83rd year. <br />Beloved wife and best friend for 63 years to Roger. <br />Inspiration and loving mother to Michelle and Wayne Dwyer, Vicki and John Tennier, Randy and April Turpin, Sandii Dixon and Patti and Julius Pokol. <br />Grandmother to Jeremy, Brad, Jennifer, Jason, Jessica, Erin, Traci, Riley, Marleau, Hailey, Kelsie, Julius and Alix and great grandmother to 12 &frac12; great grandchildren. <br />She will be sadly missed by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Claire is predeceased by 1 sister, 1 brother and her parents. <br />Claire was an enthusiastic crafter and an involved member of the Rainbow Region Antique and Classic Car Club. The St. Catharines Hospital Auxiliary benefitted from Claire&rsquo;s energy, and contagious positive attitude for more than 35 years. She was honoured with a lifetime membership in 2010. <br />Claire is best known for her coordinated outfit for every holiday. She inspired us to be the best we can be and we will continue to strive to make her proud every day. <br />A Memorial Open House will take place in the Woodland&rsquo;s Lounge at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (entrance off Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy #20 GPS coordinates: 2000 Merrittville Hwy, Thorold) 905-892-1699 on Sunday April 24th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Bring your favorite &ldquo;Pee Wee Tale&rdquo; to share. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Niagara will be appreciated by her family.
