<div itemprop="description"><br />MacLeod, Dennis &ndash; passed away unexpectedly on August 2, 2015 at the Dunnville Hospital at the age of 68. Loving husband and best friend of Margaret MacLeod (nee McKenzie). Cherished father of Tracy (Fred) Gallina. Poppa &ldquo;D&rdquo; will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Calvin, Tatum and Malcolm. Dennis is survived by his brother Larry and twin sister Kay, father-in-law Donald McKenzie, brother-in-law Dan (Anita) Mckenzie, sister-in-law Donna (Doug) Bramhall, loving nieces, nephews and many other family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Jack and Ethel MacLeod, his beloved brother Boyne and mother-in-law Anne McKenzie. Dennis lived a happy and full life. He enjoyed skiing, golfing, and boxing in which he had many achievements; he was Golden Gloves Champion in the 1960&rsquo;s; he obtained his private pilot&rsquo;s license and he was Chief Stationary Engineer at John Deere Welland Works until his retirement in 2005. He then enjoyed his winters in Florida and summers on Lake Erie. Dennis&rsquo; witty sense of humour and constant kindness will always be remembered. Cremation has taken place. The MacLeod Family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME 92250 Highway 20, entrance off Merrittville Highwway,905-892-1699) on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday August 7, 2015 from 9:30 a.m. until the Memorial Service at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel.
