<div itemprop="description">WILSACK, Donald Jeremiah September 29,1940-February 20, 2015 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Don after a very courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Suzanne, children Don, Kim Wilsack (Brad Cutler), Stephanie (Craig) Tomori, his mother Mary Copeland, his twin brother Ron, George (2009), step sister Tracey (Ted) Burlak; his grandchildren Zach Myasaki, Lukas Tomori and Lila Tomori. He also leaves behind many in laws, Larry (Georgette) Whissell, Lorraine (Don - 2004) Peachy, Louise (1999) - Richard Maertens, Philip (Heather) Whissell, Gisele (Tyler) Kernaghan, Paul (Louisa) Whissell and Christine (Christopher) Milne, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Don was born and raised in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia until 1958 where he then moved to Hamilton. From there he joined the Royal Canadian Navy from 1958 - 1963. He later settled in Niagara Falls where he lived and worked as an industrial painter until his retirement. Don liked to golf, loved to take care of his wife, children and mostly spending quality time with his two little grandchildren Lukas and Lila. In keeping with Don's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Highway, (905-892-1699) on Saturday February 28 th from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm). A celebration of Don's life will be held in the funeral home chapel immediately following visitation.
