<div itemprop="description">Lesco, Donald Wayne passed away surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Vivian (nee Sheehan). Dear father of Joelle and Paul Lukacsy, Josh and Trisha Lesco. Papa of Olivia, Emily, Ellie and Reya. Son-in-law of Elizabeth Sheehan. Brother of Mary Louise and Paul Hughes, Greg and Pam Lesco. Brother-in-law of Jeff and Sandra Sheehan, Bruce and Jane Sheehan, Tony and Rose Sheehan. Special uncle to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Shirley Lesco and father-in-law Syd Sheehan. Don was loved by many friends. Don taught for 19 years at Lockview Park Secondary School in Port Colborne and 13 years at Centennial Secondary School in Welland before retiring in 1998. For Don, teaching was not just a job, it was his life. This was exemplified by the number of student’s lives he touched. Don taught English, was a guidance counsellor, coached football and basketball. He also coached youth basketball, soccer and baseball, as well as men’s slow pitch. Don was a die hard Cleveland Browns fan and he loved travelling. Don’s true passion in life, was his family. Cremation has taken place. The Lesco family will receive visitors at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME 2000 Merrittville Highway (corner of Merrittville and Highway 20, 905-892-1699) on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until the Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment to follow in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Hospital for Sick Children.</div>
