<div itemprop="description">ERICKSON, Glenwood, &ldquo;Glen&rdquo; It is with a heavy heart, I announce the passing of my dear dad Glen on Saturday October 31st, 2015 at the age of 84. Glen will be greatly missed by his son Gary Erickson of Toronto. Glen is survived by his grandsons Joey and Anthony Martino. Glen is predeceased by his wife Marie &ldquo;Terry&rdquo; Erickson (1998) and daughter Mary-Ellen Martino (2003). Glen spent his life doing the things he loved the most, cherishing his wife, caring for his children and working in an industry he had great a passion for. Following his studies at McGill University, Glen began his career working as an engineer in the steel industry for Wheelabrator Group. Following his 40 year career, he retired from management at Flakt Canada as an Air Pollution Control engineer. In retirement, Glen enjoyed going to the beach, enjoying the warm weather of Orlando, spending time fishing, leading bible study groups, and spending time with his grandchildren. Glen and his wife Terry moved back to Thorold in 1995 where he stayed until 2010. He then joined his son Gary in Toronto. Glen and Gary spent the remainder of Glen&rsquo;s retirement enjoying the life at the Thompson Hotel and Residences. Together they enjoyed the local restaurants and caf&eacute;s. As Glen would say &ldquo;we&rsquo;re all set&rdquo;. In keeping with Glens wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Saturday November 21st, 2015, 10:30 am at Pleasantview Funeral Home and Cemetery. Guest are asked to meet at Pleasantview funeral home at 10:15 am where we will proceed together taking Glen to his final resting place with his wife Terry. I take great comfort in knowing that dad has rejoined mom. A celebration of life will take place in Montreal at Christmas.</div>
