<div itemprop="description">HALLETT, Harold - It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Harold after a lengthy battle with dementia, on Friday Aug 12, 2016 in his 91 year. <br>Beloved husband to Marion for 72 years. <br>Cherished father to William (Sharon) and Jim (Brian Secord). <br>Special Grandpa to Dale (Magen) and Barry (Sara), and great-grandfather to Ardyn, Deagen, Mavis, Ellis and Rachel. <br>Survived by his sister Marylin (the late Fred) McNab. <br>Predeceased by his siblings Ross, Murray and Betty. <br>Harold was the proud owner of Hallett’s Sawmill and Lumber in Rockway for over 40 years. His family would like to extend a heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to Cathy Denis from the Alzheimer’s Society for her compassion and many visits over the last number of months, and the staff on the 3rd floor of the St.Catharines Hospital for their superior care in Harold’s final days. <br>In keeping with Harold's wishes cremation has taken place.His family will receive friends at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (entrance off Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy #20) 905-892-1699 on Tues Aug 23rd from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 12:00 noon with interment to follow. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer’s Society will be appreciated by his family.
