<div itemprop="description"> <p> ARMSTRONG, Heather - Following a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Heather, peacefully at Hospice Niagara on January 2nd, 2013. </p> <p> Loving wife of the late Robin Armstrong (May 31, 2012). </p> <p> Cherished mother of Teanna (Paul) Gaboury. </p> <p> Dear step mother of Alex (Judit) and Paul. Heather will be sadly missed by her dear grandsons Carter Gaboury and John Armstrong </p> <p> She will be fondly remembered by her sisters Karen (Ray) Wong, Barbara (Paul) Rusling and brother Marty (Gloria) MacQueen. Pre deceased by her son Aaron Gaspare (1973). </p> <p> A special thanks to Dr. Yalamanchili and the Outpatient Oncology Team for their expertise and patience. Dr. Malaguti for her kindness, support and exceptional care over the years. To the St. Elizabeth nurses Linda and Meghan for their care, Paramed for the evening nurses, and lastly to the staff at Hospice Niagara for their wonderful care and compassion. </p> <p> According to Heathers wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Friday January 4th from11 am to 1pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE, Fonthill (with entrance off Merrittville and Hwy 20) 905-892-1699 on Friday January 4th at 1 pm </p> <p> A private family interment will take place at a later date. </p> <p> As an expression of sympathy, donations to Hospice Niagara would be greatly appreciated by the family. </p> <p> On-line condolences at www.pleasantviewcemetery.ca </p> </div>
