<div itemprop="description">HUGHES, Jake Richard <br /> Suddenly on Monday August 20th, 2012, as a result of an ATV accident, Jake Hughes of Welland in his 20th year. <br /> Adored &amp; cherished son of Sam &amp; Pearl, Jake will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his brother Adam and sister Leah. <br /> Proud Grandson &amp; Sunshine of Richard &amp; Ilene Robins and Bob &amp; Annette Hughes all of Welland. Jake is survived by his Aunt Tracey Robins &amp; Uncle Johnny Herrington of Edmonton, Aunt Kim &amp; Uncle Rob Konig of Bethel, Uncle Mark &amp; Aunt Sheri Hughes of Fonthill. <br /> Jake will be remembered by his cousins Shardai &amp; Katrina Konig and Jack &amp; Lola Hughes. <br /> Jake was entering his second year at Brock University working towards a career in police services. He loved the Buffalo Bills, spending time with his friends and his social life. <br /> When he wasn&rsquo;t having an afternoon nap with his cat Piper he was often finding enjoyment razzing his brother and sister. <br /> Friends and family will be received at Pleasantview Funeral &amp; Reception Centre (2250 Hwy #20 with entrance off Merrittville Hwy, Fonthill 905-892-1699) on Friday August 24, 2012 from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday August 25, 2012 at 11 o&rsquo;clock in the Pleasantview Funeral Home Chapel <br /> In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Children Make a Wish Foundation or Welland Humane Society <br /> Online condolences may be made at www.pleasantviewcemetery.ca. <br /> </div>
