Beloved wife of the late Stanley Watkinson for over 66 years. Dear mother of Linda Barends (Pete), Bonnie Barends (John) and Gary Watkinson (Sherry). Beloved grandmother of Tricia Gemmell, (Jessie), Stephen Barends (Arlene), Krista Copeland (Kevin), Brandon Barends, Ryan Watkinson (Shauna) and Aaron Watkinson. Proud Great Grandmother of Hayley, Trinity, Aidan, Avagail, Anderson, Amelia, Owen and Keegan. Dear sister of Leah Crosbie (Allan), brother Patrick Botsford. Predeceased by her son Arthur, daughter Nancy, father Tyler Dockstader, mother Levina Botsford, brother James Botsford Jr. and Tyler Botsford. Alma will be missed by many extended family and friends <br /> <br />Mom was known for her love of her children and for fostering children. She enjoyed knitting and shopping and was very dedicated to her family. Special thanks go out from Alma&rsquo;s family to the staff, who lovingly cared for her at Linhaven (Brock Wing). <br /> <br />Visitation will be held at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (entrance off Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy #20) 905-892-1699 on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 from 10 am to 12 pm. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. <br /> <br />Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Celiac Foundation.
