<div itemprop="description">WALKER, Shaun. It is with heavy hearts our family must announce Shaun&rsquo;s passing on Friday February 28th, 2014 at his home peacefully in his sleep. His wife, best friend, and soul mate Amanda will forever miss him with all her heart. Shaun&rsquo;s Dad and Mom Paul and Susan Walker of St. Catharines will carry his memory with them always. Brother Ryan (Shelly) Walker and their son Morgan of Dunnville will miss him dearly. Son-in-law of Mathew and Vera Bering of Ridgeville cherish the time they had with him. Sister-in-law Jackie Bering (Chris) and brother-in-law Will Bering (Tara) will always have fond memories of Shaun. Best friend&rsquo;s, coworker&rsquo;s and brother&rsquo;s Evan Hollingsworth (Rachel) and their children Hayden, Aubrey, and Avery, Rob Boothman (Kate) and their children Trevor, Ben, and Willow will all miss him deeply. Shaun grew up in Thorold, attended Thorold High School where he met many friends. Following his education at Niagara College he became a Paramedic for Niagara EMS in 2001 and became an Advance Care Paramedic in 2007. Throughout Shaun&rsquo;s career he touched and helped many lives in the Niagara Region. In keeping with Shaun&rsquo;s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family invite friends to join them on Thursday March 6th, 2014 from 4 p.m. &ndash; 9 p.m. at Pleasantview Funeral Home (2250 Highway 20, entrance off Merrittville Highway, 905-892-1699) to share in memories of his life.
