<div itemprop="description">LAFLEUR, Tanya (nee Porter). On Tuesday May 12th, 2015 an angel earned her wings. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tanya following a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 35. Tanya passed peacefully surrounded by those dearest to her. Tanya&rsquo;s husband, and soul mate, Kevin will love her eternally. Mama will be ever present in the heart of her little miracle, Magen. Mom and Dad, Lorraine and Phil Porter will forever grieve the loss of their beautiful and loving daughter. Tanya will be remembered by her sister, Tammy (Shawn) Elcome and Grandma, Lois (Gino) Spadafora. Tanya will also be sorely missed by Kevin&rsquo;s parents, Andre and Jane Lafleur and brothers David (Teena) and Brian (Jennifer) and Grandma Jean Hajdu. Tanya cared deeply for her nieces and nephews, Avereigh, Carson, Brayden, Colton, and Abbey. Family invites friends to PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Highway, Thorold, (905) 892-1699) on Friday, May 15th, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm, Saturday May 16th from 10 &ndash; 11 am immediately followed by a Celebration of Tanya&rsquo;s life in the funeral home chapel. In keeping with Tanya&rsquo;s wishes, cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Community Care St. Catharines would be greatly appreciated by the family.
