<div itemprop="description">SWARTZ, Thomas Gregory &ldquo;Greg&rdquo; &ndash; It is with sadness we announce the passing of Greg on Monday July 06, 2015 in his 69th year at the Welland Hospital. <br />He leaves behind his wife and friend Debbie of 47 years. <br />Loving father to Sheila, Sherri (Dave) Wake, Shannon (Joe) Fowler, Dan (Tammie), Shawna (Glen) Gutcher and Stephanie. <br />Cherished Grampa to Jessica, April, Dezmin, Mya, Dakota, Dawson, Roger, William and Shyan. <br />He will be sadly missed by his siblings Bonnie, Judy, Lois, Brenda, John, Tim, Debbie, Jeff, Jimmy, Guy and Tracy and their families. <br />He will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. <br />He is predeceased by: his parents Tom and Eloise; brothers-in-law John and Joe; sister-in-law Dorothy; niece Margie and nephew Johnny. <br />Greg&rsquo;s family would like to extend a heartfelt &ldquo;Thank You&rdquo; to the Doctors and nurses in both the Emergency and 6th Floor depts. at the Welland Hospital especially Dr. David James for his care and compassion. <br /> <br />In keeping with Greg&rsquo;s wishes, cremation has taken place. His family will receive guests at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (entrance off Merrittville Hwy at the corner of Hwy #20) 905-892-1699 on Wed July 08th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate his life will be held in the funeral chapel on Thurs July 09th at 11:00 am officiated by Father Brian Bevan, with inurnment to follow. <br />In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by his family. <br /></div>
