<div itemprop="description">Hipfner, Travis David- Sept. 8, 1977- May 14, 2014<br /><br />Passing away suddenly at Alberta Northern Lights Hospital in Fort McMurray, Alberta, on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the age of 36. He will be deeply missed by his parents Francine and David Hipfner, brothers; Layton and Devon, uncles; Roland and Peter Lamoureux, Ronnie (Kathie) Hipfner and cousins in Edmonton and relatives in St. Catharines, Montreal and Kanata. He will be deeply missed by his godmother Darcia Ewanchuck. Travis attended Immaculate Conception, Holy Cross Secondary, Brock University and Fanshaw College. Travis made many friends in Edmonton and Fort McMurray as a refracturer for the Brick Layer Union 1. We would like to thank the many construction departments and their members and staff of; Alliance, Clayburn, RHI and Western for their contributions and flowers. Thanks to all our neighbours and friends for their support.<br /><br />Cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Pleasantview Funeral Home, 2250 Hwy20 in Fonthill (entrance off of Merrittville Hwy 905-892-1699) on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. (please meet at funeral home at 9:45 a.m.) Memorial donations in memory of Travis to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
